“I would say the best thing about Unity is the family that you join when you become a part of the college. And that's a family that continues to encourage and support you long after your study is over. Musicianship has been invaluable. As a vocalist that does not play an instrument, it has given me the knowledge to communicate with my band members and explain musically what I want to hear or achieve. It has allowed me to speak their language and communicate effectively. It has also allowed me to compose my own songs”
Amber was voted Canberra's Pop Artist of the Year in 2013 and was a finalist in the 2015 series of the national television singing competition "The Voice"."I came to Unity College straight out of school with big dreams of something music related, but got so much more than the Diploma I enrolled for. I got to meet lots of people from all over the world who came there to study, and the most beautiful part was that the students and teachers really became a family to me. I learned so much from these people over the three years I was around, and I would not be where I am today without my time there. I am now currently studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Performance and Songwriting at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney and I wouldn’t have been able to get this far or do this well without my studies at Unity College. Unity College has helped equip me with the tools and confidence needed to begin and sustain this venture. I truly loved my time and the people there, and I’m eternally grateful for everything all my teachers imparted to me."
"I studied Live Audio Engineering as part of the Creative Ministries course. I am still finding the knowledge and skills I learned very useful even a few years since I did the course."
